Very friendly and accomodating staff. They walked us to the room and provided all needed explanations. Room was comfortable and included a mini kitchen with several appliances. Beds were fairly comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modest, however the shower faucet was very low, anyone 5 ft or shorter could use it comfortably but anyone taller will find it very uncomfortable to use.
We were here June 26, 2024 Room was better than we expected. Seams to be a older place, but the rooms a clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and efficient. Was the quickest check in I have ever had.

Super ist das zweite Zimmer mit kompletter Küche gewesen und die tolle Aussicht auf die Berge. Dank der freundlichen Hilfe am Empfang waren wir noch rechtzeitig am einzigen noch offenen Restaurant.

Good place to stay if you are visiting Kluane National Park or travelling the Alaska Highway. Location is great. It is a bit dated, but good staff, clean, comfortable enough. Has everything you need for a motel. Our room had a fridge and microwave. The walls are thin but the other guests were pretty quiet. Would stay there again.

When you're traveling to Alaska and this is just a pitstop, it's a clean and you get a comfortable bed. The plumbing is pretty awful and it's on Alaska Highway. But who cares?! All of the other places were booked up. Don't be put off by the curb appeal - it doesn't look great, but it's a lot better than other places we have stayed driving from southern tip of Baja to Anchorage.
Great first impression as this motel shares its name with a Hoagy Carmichael song that went on to become the title track of my favourite Willie Nelson album (and one of the best albums of the 1970s). This may also be the only hotel I've ever been to where the clerk greeted me with the keys to my room in the parking lot before I even got out of my car. Hotel is a bit of a walk away from the main "action" of Haines Junction, but is also far back enough from the highway where noise wasn't an issue. Fridge (but no microwave) was included in the room.
